This is the website of art, fashion and advertising photographers <a href="../photographer/rene-heitmuller-en.html"><font color="#99a328">René
Heitmüller</font></a> and Felice Derkinderen
creating images together. Rene
Heitmuller (1960) and <a href="../photographer/felice-derkinderen-en.html">Felice
Derkinderen</a> (1968) both studied photography at the Royal Academy of Arts
in the Hague (the Netherlands) and worked as independent photographers in Amsterdam.
After meeting eachother in 1990 they started creating images together under
the alias <b>the Beauty and the beast</b>. Since then Heitmüller and Derkinderen
have been succesfully working together for both commercial and editorial clients
and personal projects in the Netherlands and abroad. Their work was published
in many national and international books, catalogues, annuals and magazines
and was exhibited at photofestivals in and outside the Netherlands. Critics
describe their photography as stripped to the substance of things, statuesque
and timeless with our time caught in it. Their autonomous work is sold at the online gallery for<font color="#FFFFFF">
